Welcome to Johns Hopkins Summer Programs!

Our Pre-College Programs will give you the opportunity to excel academically, of course, but they’re also designed to give you a view of the social side of the campus, as you take advantage of all that Hopkins has to offer. Our Pre-college Programs at Hopkins are not just about academics- they will show you that the social and extra-curricular side of college life is also important. To that end, we are busy planning many exciting activities and options for your participation—on campus, around Baltimore, and in Washington, D.C., whether it’s a trip to Hershey Park or a workshop on college admissions, we hope you will take advantage of these activities and the opportunity to interact with other students who share your interests. For many of you, this will be your first experience living in a dorm and having a roommate. The friendships you develop this summer may well last a lifetime. With the activities we have planned, and the courses you’ll take, we are certain you’ll stay busy as you develop your current interests and gain new ones.

Academically, taking college courses together with current Hopkins undergraduates or other talented high school students will widen your perspective about your future studies. You will put forth your best efforts as you improve your time-management and studying skills. At the end of the summer, you will be better prepared to leave high school and enter the collegiate world!

In all respects, you are about to embark on an unforgettable summer. We are confident you will be successful in your academics and we are working hard to ensure that you will enjoy getting to know the Hopkins campus and the attractions Baltimore has to offer. This will be a summer you will never forget, and we are very pleased you have chosen to spend it here with us!
